Today is the release day for Columbus Creative Cooperative’s latest anthology, For the Road: Short Stories of America’s Highways. The folks over at Columbus Creative Cooperative provide some great resources for local writers, and we were thrilled to be part of the production team working on their new book.
Columbus Publishing Lab’s team of developmental editors worked with each of the ten anthology authors to provide extensive feedback on every story. Each author received professional editing services, and with them, the opportunity to improve their story based on our editors’ feedback. Learn more about developmental editing here.
After the developmental editing was complete, a copy editor edited the book thoroughly to standardize the stories to a style guide, and catch any spelling and grammar mistakes. Learn more about copy editing services here.
From there, our interior designers formatted the book for both print and e-book markets, ensuring the book looked beautiful, and was easily readable across multiple platforms. Learn more about interior design here.
After the interior design was complete our proofreaders combed through the book one last time to catch any remaining errors, and check the interior designer’s work before the book went to the printer. Learn more about proofreading services here.
The result? A fantastic, professional-looking book. Congratulations to all of the authors who were selected to be published in this book! It was great working with you.
